Following steps need to be performed to synchronise standby database.

Only Oracle Databases, versions 10g Release 2 and later (10.2.0.1) are supported with this feature.

Step 1: On the Dbvisit Standby main menu of GUI, Click on Setup

Step 2: Select option 5 "Synchronise Standby DB"

Step 3: Select the database to be synchronised.

Step 3: Examine the SCN & sequence summary, Enter temp location which should be big enough to hold RMAN incremental backup of primary database.

Step 3: Click on Synchronise Standby Database.

GUI will open a new screen where you can see real time progress of synchronisation process. After complition of this process , you can also view sync summary.

Note

Once standby database is synchronised, run default command on primary(send archive) and standby(apply archive) servers.
