Custom Scripts

Now you can execute your custom scripts as part of Dbvisit Switchover and failover task. In this example we will see how to use a sample custom script for Graceful switchover task

Step 1 : Go to Dashboard(1), choose the DDC configuration, and click on Custom Scripts (2)

Step 2: Add the script by providing the location of the script on the Primary host and save it

Step 3: Add the script for the Standby Host and close this. To Delete/remove the script by clicking (2)

Step 4: Next click on the Graceful Switchover task and choose the scripts under the custom script option. You have the option to add the new script or choose from the existing script list.

Step 5: Scripts are successfully executed at the end of the switchover task
