Description

When downgrading from Dbvisit Replicate 2.8 to 2.7, please make sure the following are done:


Steps Performed

 

  1. Shutdown MINE and APPLY (shutdown all)

2. Start console

3. Run the downgrade command from the existing version (2.8.04)

  • dbvrep> DOWNGRADE REPOSITORY MINE 2.7.00

  • dbvrep> DOWNGRADE REPOSITORY APPLY 2.7.00

Example :

dbvrep> DOWNGRADE REPOSITORY MINE 2.7.00 Downgrade to 2.8.00 done. Downgrade to 2.7.00 done. MINE: Downgrade done. dbvrep> DOWNGRADE REPOSITORY APPLY 2.7.00 Downgrade to 2.8.00 done. Downgrade to 2.7.00 done. APPLY: Downgrade done. dbvrep>

4. Shutdown console

5. Install old software (replace software)
