Problem Description

 

In SUSE environments we may notice symbol lookup errors while starting up the dbvrep

Solution

Set the following parameters:

  • Set the parameter _FORCE_LD_PATH_SYSDBA YES

  • Set MINE.ORACLE_HOME to the GRID_HOME

  • Check the regular ddc files as well as the one-time ddc file.

Example

MINE.ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/product/11.2.0.2/grid _FORCE_LD_PATH_SYSDBA YES
