Dbvisit Replicate from on-premise to Amazon RDS (Oracle) via EC2 with Dbvisit Replicate Fetcher option

This guide will provide you with an overview on getting started with  Dbvisit Replicate and Amazon RDS. It is using the optional process called 'Fetcher'.  Fetcher is used to send the redo logs from the source machine to the he EC2 instance (in this case).  The MINE and APPLY process are both running on the same EC2 instance.  The target database is Amazon's RDS.  The scenario used in this guide can be illustrated as:
