On Linux and Unix:
No Format kill -12 <process id> kill -17 <process id> (For Solaris Sparc)
Note We use SIGUSR2 to capture the ,write the dump and trace to a logfile log file , for linux,AIX, HP-UX this is 12 , but for Solaris SPARC this is 17
On Windows:
No Format dbvrep> DUMP MINE ALL
No Format dbvrep> DUMP APPLY ALL
