Using the GUI to Create Standby Database

A standby database can be created from the web-based (GUI) interface. First step is to login to the GUI interface using the admin (default) user. Once you have logged in select the “SETUP” button from the main screen. You will then enter the Dbvisit Setup menu as seen below:

From the above select option “4 Create Standby Database”. 

 

The next menu will be displayed as shown below:

From the above menu select “1 Create Standby Database” to start the standby creation process.

 

Follow the on-screen instructions now and once complete, the standby database creation process will start.

 

This process can take a long time, depending on the size of your database.
