Important Notes | ||||||||||
** Oracle 10.2 (10.2.0.1 and above) is not supported by Oracle on Oracle Linux 6. We recommend using Oracle Linux 5 if you require the use of Oracle 10.2  Important - Dbvisit Standby version 9 does not support automatically moving more than 1 Pluggable Database - support for this is coming very soon. With Dbvisit Standby v9 we support having more than one Pluggable Database in the Container Database – BUT it must exist on the primary prior to creating the standby database. That way when the standby database is created the pluggable databases will be on the standby database. If the Pluggable database is added to the primary after the standby was created, the standby database has to be re-created by running CSD(Create Standby Database) again. Unsupported Oracle Database / OS Platform combinations are not supported by Dbvisit Standby.
It is required that the Operating Systems specified match the required patch levels for the specified Oracle Software version | ||||||||||
Graceful Switchover when using ASM requires ASM 11.1.0.7 and above (Recommended 11.2.0.4 and above)
Dbvisit Standby version 7 only supports Oracle 9.2.0.8 and above
Dbvisit Standby version 6 does support Oracle 8.1.7.4 and above
Current Dbvisit Standby 6 - 6.0.62
