Reset admin password from CLI

The admin password for the control center can be directly reset from the CLI of the control center server using the dbvcontrol executable.

The below command can be run only from Dbvisit Standby version 11.4

C:\Program Files\Dbvisit\standbymp\bin>dbvcontrol.exe reset-admin-password ? Are you sure you want to reset admin user password? Yes Password of admin reset

The above will reset the admin user’s password to the default password.
