Downgrade Dbvisit Replicate

Problem Description

This Article explains how to downgrade DBvisit replicate from higher version to lower version.

Solution

To rollback (and thus downgrade to a previous version of Dbvisit Replicate) you need to:

  1. DOWNGRADE the repository by running the following command from the command console:

    DOWNGRADE REPOSITORY MINE|APPLY <version>

    For example:

    DOWNGRADE REPOSITORY MINE 2.7.00

    Note:

The DOWNGRADE Command downgrades a Replicate repository to an older version. This should be performed using the newer executable (i.e: before step 2 is actioned) and the commands need to be run for both MINE and APPLY, as the repositories on both sides need to be kept in step with each other in terms of version.

  2. Replace the executable in the same way as which you upgraded on your platform, just with the older software.
